The variety reaches only 30 cm in height, belongs to a very early flowering period and opens the iris season in the spring garden one of the first.
The standards are honey-fawn tone, the falls are light red-claret shade, darkening to purple towards the center. An intriguing earthy combination of warm honey and rich claret creates a characteristic, memorable flower that justifies its unusual name from the popular saga.
In the conditions of the central zone of Russia, Yoda blooms in early to mid-May, providing one of the earliest bursts of iris color in the season. The compact bush is ideal for the foreground of mixborders, rock gardens and bordering paths, where the variety naturally combines with early tulips, primroses and small bulbs in cheerful spring compositions full of warmth and energy.
